QinetiQ Ltd. has executed a strategic collaboration agreement with AM General LLC
QinetiQ, the U.K.-headquartered, globally integrated, defense and security company will collaborate with AM General, the U.S.-based, global mobility solutions provider best known for its iconic “Humvee” fleet of military light tactical vehicles. QinetiQ and AM General agreed to collaborate to manufacture and integrate new hybrid electrification technologies into military vehicles. QinetiQ, which has developed a broad range of proprietary technologies, approached Lincoln to find a U.S. partner to deploy and expand its market exposure in hybrid electric drive systems. Working closely with QinetiQ’s technology, engineering and commercial teams, Lincoln identified AM General as the best fit partner, offering the broadest opportunity for QinetiQ’s innovative technologies. Lincoln brokered the introduction, represented the scale and nature of the opportunities and facilitated several senior management technical and go-to-market workshops to determine the joint business case. Lincoln continued to support both teams through subsequent complex technical and commercial iterations, ultimately working with both legal teams to finalize the terms of the agreement.
