The Deal

Carbyne Equity Partners, a Germany-based private equity fund, has acquired SuanNutra, the nutraceutical ingredients division of Suanfarma, a portfolio company of ARCHIMED. This strategic transaction supports Suanfarma’s renewed focus on its core active pharmaceutical ingredients business while enabling SuanNutra to accelerate its growth as a standalone leader in the nutraceutical space.

Carbyne sought to acquire a differentiated nutraceutical ingredients platform with substantial opportunities for future growth. The acquisition of SuanNutra, bolstered by a diverse customer base and broad portfolio of clinically validated ingredients, provides Carbyne with solid foundations for continued expansion. With SuanNutra’s track record of sustained organic growth and an experienced management team, Carbyne identified clear potential to build on SuanNutra’s leading position in the industry.
