Buzz Franchise Brands has sold Mosquito Joe to Dwyer Group
Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Mosquito Joe (“MoJo” or the “Company”), a subsidiary of Buzz Franchise Brands (“Buzz”), has been acquired by Dwyer Franchising, LLC (“Dwyer Group”), a portfolio company of Harvest Partners (“Harvest”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, MoJo is the leading provider of mosquito, tick and flea control treatment in the United States, providing outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial customers through a highly scalable, franchise-based model. Since selling the first MoJo franchise in 2013, the Company has grown to 288 operating units across 34 states plus the District of Columbia. The Company’s rapid growth and national expansion is a testament to MoJo’s iconic brand, superior customer service and industry-best franchisee support system.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to MoJo, working closely with its shareholders and management team throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and managing the preparatory, marketing, negotiation and due diligence phases of the transaction.
