Athena Private Equity, IMI Fondi Chiusi have sold Centroplast to Saica
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Centroplast S.p.A. (“Centroplast” or the “Company”) has been acquired by S.A. Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa (“Saica”).
Headquartered in Italy, with international operations in Luxembourg, Centroplast is one of the leading European manufacturers of flexible packaging for the food industry. Founded in 1968, the Company offers a full range of products combining high quality and competitive prices. In FY 2016, Centroplast is expected to generate sales of Euro 75 million.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Athena Private Equity, IMI Fondi Chiusi and other shareholders, working closely with the Company’s management team throughout the sale process. This included providing advisory expertise and leading the negotiation phase of the transaction.
