Lincoln International Adds Iñigo Gonzalez de Castejon as Managing Director

Lincoln is pleased to announce that Iñigo Gonzalez de Castejon has joined the firm’s Madrid office as a Managing Director in the Global Business Services and Energy, Power & Infrastructure Groups.

Iñigo has nearly 15 years of investment banking experience in a variety of sectors, specifically commercial and industrial, information services, construction and engineering and renewables. He will focus on advising private equity and corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions within Spain.

“Iñigo has focused almost exclusively on the mid-cap market during his career, giving him the right background for operating in this dynamic market,” stated Iván Marina, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln International Spain. “Iñigo’s in-depth experience in leading cross-border transactions with private European, U.S. and Asian (especially Chinese) buyers is expected to be decisive in complementing Lincoln’s offering in Spain. We are thrilled to add him to the team.”

Before joining Lincoln, Iñigo spent five years at Haitong Bank where he was most recently Head of M&A Spain and previously Head of Client Coverage & Origination in Spain. His prior experience includes Espírito Santo Investment Bank where he worked in the corporate finance division, Nomura in the investment banking division and Morgan Stanley in the investment banking division. Iñigo earned a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and management from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros.

In addition to Iñigo, Lincoln also welcomes Jaime Prat to the Madrid office as a Director. He brings recent relevant experience in the packaging, building products and information technology services spaces, strengthening the firm’s industrials and technology, media and telecom offerings in Spain overall. Prior to joining Lincoln, Jaime was a Director at DC Advisory focused on providing M&A and debt advisory services across a range of sectors. He began his M&A career at Deloitte Corporate Finance and BNP Paribas. Jaime earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from ESADE Business and Law School. He also studied at the University of Texas.
