The Deal
The company’s goal in the transaction was both to seek a new partner for the next phase of growth while simultaneously seeking liquidity for certain shareholders and Level Equity. The company engaged Lincoln International to run a broad process due to the firm’s deep industry expertise and strong relationships in the sector. Lincoln identified and engaged multiple parties, garnering significant interest and driving a competitive process ending in a recapitalization with Pamlico Capital, along with significant re-investment from existing investor Level Equity and rollover from the company co-founders, Gary McDonald and Eric Stevens.
This transaction is reflective of continued investment interest in the broader EHS category, driven in part by the continued strong underlying market growth and the unique competitive attributes of EHS Insight within this segment.
