WinCup has been sold to Atar Capital

Headquartered in Stone Mountain, Georgia, WinCup is a leading manufacturer and supplier of disposable foodservice packaging products, including cups, lids, food containers and straws / stirrers, utilizing both traditional expanded polystyrene (EPS) and plastic (polypropylene), along with innovative new environmentally-friendly substrates. The company is the only U.S. provider of biodegradable foam cups through its Vio® brand, and has recently launched Phade®, the world’s first marine biodegradable, soil biodegradable, home and industrial compostable straw.

Lincoln acted as the exclusive investment banking advisor to WinCup, working closely with the company’s management team and board of directors throughout the sale process. The sale of the company is the second successful WinCup transaction, as Lincoln served as the exclusive financial advisor to WinCup in the sale of its subsidiary, StyroChem Canada, in August 2019.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
