Spiders Games has been sold to Bigben Interactive
Founded in 2008 by seven partners, Spiders Games is a leading independent video game development studio. The company is widely recognized within the gaming industry both in Europe and globally for its ability to develop innovative games (narrative and action RPGs), as well as for the quality of its productions.
Since inception, Spiders Games has developed six games, of which five original IPs (Faery: Legends of Avalon, Mars: War Logs, Bound by Flame, The Technomancer and Greedfall). All games are built under Silk engine, Spider Games’ own multi-platform engine and toolkit. Greedfall, the latest original IP game developed, will be released September 10, 2019 on all major platforms of the market (PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4).
By adding a major video game development player to its group, Bigben Interactive integrates strategic skills and assets to achieve its stated ambition of becoming a global leader in the “AA” video game segment.
Jehanne Rousseau, CEO of Spiders Games, states, “We look forward to joining Bigben Interactive, a leading international player in the video game industry, driven by a vision and ambition that fully reflects our culture and development goals. Joining Bigben Interactive is a unique opportunity to significantly increase our production which means creating even more qualitative games.”
