Betonbau Group

Betonbau Group is the largest German manufacturer of high-quality turnkey technical and infrastructure buildings such as transformer stations for power grids, charging infrastructure for e-mobility and point of presence (POP) stations for telecommunication networks. Betonbau has over 1,000 customers in both the public and private space and currently employs 900 people across four sites in Germany and one site in the Czech Republic.

The Deal

In recent years, Betonbau has succeeded in becoming a market leader for turnkey technical buildings. After more than 15 successful years as part of SCHWENK Group, Betonbau was looking for a new partner to accelerate its growth trajectory. With capiton’s support, the management team plans to further grow the business organically as well as through acquisitions of smaller players in a fragmented market. Lincoln International supported capiton in arranging a suitable financing package, consisting of term loans to finance the acquisition and facilities and to finance the operating needs of the company as well as future growth initiatives.
