Apposite Capital has sold MC Care to City & County Healthcare Group
MC Care, created in 2017 following the acquisition of two companies from Mitie Group plc, operates through three brands: MiHomecare, Complete Care Amegreen and Noble Live-in Care. These brands provide a wide range of home care services to people who need help and support, including complex care, live-in care and care at home, to individuals across the UK.
MiHomecare is a contract-based homecare provider that is a market leader in the UK, with 15 branches in the South of England and Wales. Complete Care Amegreen is a specialist nurse-led complex care at home business that is predominantly funded by the National Health Service. It is focused on clinical expertise in the care of customers with spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Noble Live-in Care is a mainly privately funded one-to-one live-in care provider for elderly clients. The whole group benefits from a digital platform and market-leading quality.
Lincoln was retained as the exclusive sell-side financial advisor for this transaction. Lincoln worked closely with MC Care’s management and the Apposite team following an approach by City & County Healthcare Group in December 2020. The team assisted Apposite and management during bilateral negotiations and closing of the transaction ahead of the UK budget date.
