The company uses its proprietary, custom-built technology platform to automate the lead generation process, serving customers that include leading insurance carriers, brokers, mortgage lenders and lead aggregators across several industry verticals such as Medicare, under-65 health insurance, auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, mortgage and pet insurance. Through its owned and operated websites, Apollo generates valuable, first-party data that enables its customers to efficiently segment and target their prospective customers.
The Deal
Since its founding in 1995, Apollo has remained a privately held business and has evolved into a leading performance marketing platform focused on the insurance and financial services verticals. With a massive addressable market opportunity in front of them, the company sought a growth investment from a new partner to support multiple initiatives including product extensions, vertical expansion and strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The new partnership with The Riverside Company represents the first institutional capital Apollo has received.
