Alkemics has closed its Series C funding round
Alkemics is the leading European supplier-retailer collaboration platform, already working with France and the United Kingdom’s largest grocery retailers.
The platform connects large retailers with over 17,000 brands from multinational suppliers such as Nestlé, as well as small local producers. In 2019, more than seven million messages were exchanged through the platform.
Building on three years of collaboration and innovation with its key clients, the Alkemics platform has digitized the different stages of supplier-retailer relationships: product discovery, product listing and product launch across all channels – online and offline.
In the operation, growth stage fund Highland Europe has joined the company’s investors, while Cathay Innovation, Index Ventures, SEB Alliance and Serena Capital have renewed their support.
Already well-established in France and in the United Kingdom, Alkemics will use the new funds raised to increase its geographical footprint in Europe, beginning with Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia.
“Alkemics is a powerful catalyst helping the whole retail industry to streamline their processes. The recent period has brought tremendous pressure on the industry and highlighted the value the company brings to the ecosystem” commented François Carlot, Managing Director at Lincoln International.
Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Alkemics founders and shareholders throughout the process, providing advisory expertise and supporting the negotiation in the transaction.
It’s been a pleasure to work with Lincoln International, who have supported us throughout the process to reach this successful outcome.
