Hochtemperatur Engineering has sold Bachmann Industries to Clyde Bergemann Power Group

Lincoln International announced the sale of Bachmann Industries, Inc. (“Bachmann”) to Clyde Bergemann Power Group, a Glasgow, United Kingdom-based supplier of systems and solutions for the energy services market. Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, Hochtemperatur Engineering GmbH, and Bachmann Industries, Inc.

Bachmann Industries, headquartered in Auburn, Maine, United States is the market leading provider of high performance, custom-engineered pollution exhaust control systems for the global energy and industrial markets. The Company provides high-end exhaust and damper systems for the control and isolation of pollution abatement equipment used primarily in power generation facilities as well as in other industrial “smokestack” processes.

Fred Koch, Bachmann’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will continue to lead the company under the new name Clyde Bergemann Bachmann (“CBBA”). The businesses will be integrated into the Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas, the U.S.-arm of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group.

With CBBA, not only the business field “Air-Gas Handling” comes into being, it is also the entry of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group into the market of gas-fired plants. “This acquisition extends both our portfolio of products and markets and therewith perfectly supports our growth strategy. We know Bachmann Industries since years from jointly carried out projects, mainly in Asia,” amends Franz Bartels, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group.
