Angeles Equity Partners has acquired an automotive acoustic solutions business from UGN
Lincoln International (“Lincoln”), a leading global mid-market investment bank, announced the successful completion of a financing in support of Angeles Equity Partners, LLC’s (“AEP”) acquisition of UGN Inc.’s automotive acoustic solutions business based in Chicago Heights, Illinois. The company, which will operate under the name Applied Acoustics International (“AAI”), is a leading Tier 1 provider of sound barrier and noise dampening products to the North American automotive industry.
Lincoln acted as the exclusive debt placement agent to AEP in connection with securing debt financing commitments in support of the acquisition of Applied Acoustics International, which consisted of a senior credit facility provided by Zions Bank. In addition to partially funding the acquisition, the credit facility will be used to support AAI’s strategic growth plans and fund ongoing working capital requirements.
As AEP’s exclusive debt placement agent, Lincoln worked closely with the firm to structure, arrange and negotiate the financing.
