Zhao provides mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services to private companies and financial sponsors in the healthcare industry. He has experience working in various sectors where investors are increasingly focused on finding companies that are recession-resilient, while poised to benefit from emerged megatrends.

With over a decade of experience in financial services, Zhao has advised public companies, private equity firms and privately held companies on M&A, debt and equity transactions.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Zhao worked at BMO Capital Markets as a Vice President focused on industrial clients across various sub-sectors and at Morningstar as an Equity Research Analyst covering industrials, materials and energy companies in Hong Kong, China, and Chicago, U.S.

Zhao earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on analytic finance, economics and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance and management information systems from Iowa State University. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
