Svante Adde

M&A is much more than numbers and process. It requires strategic thinking, experience and the ability to understand not only the client’s needs, but also how the counterpart thinks.

Svante is a Senior Advisor for Lincoln in the U.K. and Nordic region. He has more than 35 years of corporate finance experience and has advised on major cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Svante has a breadth of experience across a broad range of sectors having worked as an advisor, in executive management and as a non-executive board member and chairman.

Svante has worked with companies in the pulp/paper, engineering, financial services and media and telecom sectors. He combines deep industry expertise and regional knowledge to advise companies about accelerating growth and reaching new markets outside the region, as well as the best avenues to gain access to foreign organizations interesting in investing in the Nordics.

Svante is a non-executive director for a number of public and private companies.

Before joining Lincoln as an advisor, Svante was a partner and Managing Director for the Nordic businesses of Lazard and Poyry Capital. He has also been Chief Financial Officer of Ahlstrom OYJ and Vice President of Citicorp.

Svante earned a Bachelor of Science from the Stockholm School of Economics.
