Chieko Matsuda

I am passionate to see Japanese corporate achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value over the mid- to long-term by adopting and digesting the new corporate governance systems.

Chieko joined Lincoln as Senior Advisor in August 2011. She is currently a professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University, Graduate School. Chieko also serves as President at Matrix, Inc.; Senior Research Member in the Japan Association for CFOr; Director of Chemical Co., Ltd.; and Director at S.T. Corporation.

Chieko also serves as an audit and supervisory board member at Sato Holdings Corporation. She is a member of the management council at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and a member of the risk advisory committee at Japan Bank for International Cooperation.

Previously, Chieko was a partner at Booz & Company. She also spent time at Moody’s Japan in an analyst role.

Chieko earned a Master of Business Administration from Ecole Nationale de Pont et Chausse and a Bachelor of Arts from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
