Sanjeev Varma joins Lincoln International as a Senior Advisor

Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Sanjeev Varma has joined the firm as a senior advisor. He brings extensive expertise that will support the Automotive and Truck Group on global automotive transactions, as well as the Special Situations Group, on matters facing financially-stressed and distressed companies.

Sanjeev brings 34 years of automotive industry, investment banking and consulting experience to his role. In addition, he has extensive experience in other strategic finance services including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions, marketing, strategic planning, and business development activities. Previously he was Managing Director at Teneo Capital and held Senior Advisor positions at Duff & Phelps and Chanin Capital. During his 20 years working directly in the auto industry he held senior positions at Magna & New Venture Gear. He started his career with Chrysler Corporation in 1984.

Sanjeev earned a M.S. in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has attended Executive Development Programs in Finance & Marketing at Wharton.
