Lincoln International Announces Appointment of Keiji Miyakawa as Senior Advisor in Japan

Tokyo, January 5, 2009 – Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, announced today the appointment of Keiji Miyakawa as a Senior Advisor in Japan. Mr. Miyakawa previously worked for 20 years at Deutsche Bank Group, previously Bankers Trust. His investment banking experience includes Co-head of M&A and, most recently, Vice Chairman, Global Banking Group, Deutsche Securities, the investment banking unit of Deutsche Bank Group in Japan.

Jim Lawson, Co-Chairman and Managing Director of Lincoln International, said, “Our firm is founded on the principles of excellence, integration and integrity. Based on these principals we seek to develop long-term relationships. Therefore, we are very pleased that Mr. Miyakawa has agreed to become a Senior Advisor for Lincoln International in Japan. During his long career with Deutsche Bank, Mr. Miyakawa has embodied excellence, integration and integrity and thereby become highly recognized and respected for his advice. We look forward to his wise counsel as we build long-term relationships with our clients in Japan and globally.”

Tetsuya Fujii, Managing Director and President of Lincoln International in Japan, commented, “We are delighted to have Mr. Miyakawa join us as a Senior Advisor. I worked with Keiji at Deutsche Securities in their M&A Group and know Japanese clients appreciated and trusted his honest advice. In order for Lincoln International to become real partner for Japanese corporations, his advice based on 20 years of investment banking experience will be of great value.”

Keiji Miyakawa added, “I am excited to be working with Lincoln International. With its truly integrated international platform, global network, capabilities and firm wide culture, I believe Lincoln is uniquely positioned to serve Japanese corporations across a wide variety of M&A needs. Given that global large investment banks have their own issues; Lincoln International will play a bigger role in further increasing cross-border strategic advisory needs of Japanese corporations.”

Prior to Bankers Trust, Mr. Miyakawa began his career in 1982 at Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japanese governmental trade and investment promotion agency. As a Fulbright Scholarship grantee, Mr. Miyakawa attended the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute of International Management, at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned an MBA and an MA in International Studies, respectively. Mr. Miyakawa is a visiting lecturer at Waseda University in Tokyo.
