Lincoln International Represents KPS Capital Partners, LP and Pegasus Capital Advisors, LP in Sale of Genesis Worldwide II, Inc.

 

CHICAGO, September 25, 2007 - Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, has announced the sale of  Genesis Worldwide II, Inc. ("Genesis" or the "Company"), a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, LP ("KPS") and Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P. ("Pegasus"), to HVS Acquisition, Inc., an affiliate of Grey Mountain Partners, LLC.

 

This transaction represents the second sale that Lincoln International has successfully completed for KPS in the past year, after the sale of Ebro Electronic GmbH to Nova Analytics Corporation in November 2006.  Additionally, this transaction represents the 24th successful assignment completed by Lincoln International's Industrial Components and Systems Group since the beginning of 2007.

 

Based in Callery, PA, Genesis is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of high-quality metal coil processing equipment under the Herr-Voss Stamco® brand name.  The Company also provides mill roll services and operates a repair and spare parts business.  The Company's products include precision levelers, cut-to-length lines, slitting lines, and multi-blanking lines, in addition to other related equipment.  Genesis operates eight manufacturing and service facilities located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and California.

 

Genesis's equipment is used by metal processors to convert coils of steel, aluminum and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals into value-added, semi-finished products for use in a wide range of consumer products and industrial applications.  The Company's equipment is globally recognized for its innovative design, unparalleled quality, robustness and superior productivity.  The equipment designed and manufactured by Genesis is utilized throughout the entire metal coil processing value chain, including primary and secondary metal producers, metal service centers, original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs") and end users.

 

Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to KPS and Pegasus, working closely with the senior management team of Genesis to complete this transaction.
