Lincoln International advises Ciclad on the sale of Faure Herman S.A. to IDEX Corporation
CHICAGO, March 28, 2007 Lincoln International, a leading mid-market investment bank, advised Ciclad, a French mid-cap private equity firm and the majority shareholder in the company Faure Herman, through its acquisition by IDEX Corporation (NYSE:IEX) of Northbrook, Ill. IDEX is an applied solutions company specializing in fluid and metering technologies, health and science technologies, dispensing equipment, and fire, safety and other diversified products. Lincoln International initiated the transaction and acted as the exclusive financial advisors to the sellers for the transaction.
Faure Herman is a leading manufacturer and marketer of high precision turbine and ultrasonic flow meters used principally by the oil and gas industry. It was acquired from the Zodiac Group by Ciclad and its management in a leveraged buyout transaction in 2004. Faure Herman will complete IDEXs portfolio of precision metering products in its Liquid Controls division, a leader in the petroleum industry.
This transaction represents the 34th successful assignment completed by Lincoln Internationals Engineered and General Industrial Products group since the beginning of 2006.
