Terex Corporation has sold assets of Terex Roadbuilding Division to Fayat Group

Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, announced that Terex Corporation (NYSE:TEX) divested its Roadbuilding operations in Brazil and certain mobile Roadbuilding product lines in the United States to the Fayat Group of France. Divested product lines include asphalt plants and pavers manufactured in Porto Allegre, Brazil, and assets for the asphalt paver, reclaimer stabilizer and material transfer product lines manufactured in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Terex Corporation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Terex Roadbuilding, headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with significant operations and a production facility in Porto Allegre, Brazil, is a leading manufacturer of the broadest line of asphalt and concrete paving equipment in the world with product offerings in five customer-focused business units: Asphalt Mobile Equipment, Asphalt Plants, Concrete Mobile Equipment, Concrete Plants and Landfill Compaction. Several of Terex Roadbuilding’s products hold #1 or #2 market positions in their respective geographies and are utilized for commercial and residential construction by building and road construction contractors, infrastructure developers, airports, municipalities, departments of transportation, solid waste operators and the military. The acquisition represents a significant breakthrough for Fayat and its subsidiary BOMAG GmbH as well as the mixing plant business unit subsidiary Marini-Ermont and enhances the position of Fayat Group for long term success and significant growth potential in the industry.
