Patrick von Herz heads up Lincoln International AG’s Industrial & Automotive Group. He is involved in client relationship management, leads transaction teams and markets Lincoln International’s overall services.
Since 1993, he has assisted clients with disposals, acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs and management buy-outs as well as joint ventures working for private equity funds, large corporations as well as mid-cap and privately held businesses. Patrick disposes of considerable advisory experience, particularly on complex cross-border transactions. He has worked on assignments for clients such as Alcoa, Autoliv, Continental, Daimler, EADS, Fiat, GM, Hella Hueck, Itochu, Johnson Controls, Siemens, TDK, Tyco Electronics, Thyssen Krupp, Trelleborg, Valeo and Webasto, amongst others.
With over 20 years of transaction expertise in the industrial and automotive sector, Patrick has distinct knowledge of the particular opportunities and problems facing companies and investors in this industry.
Patrick von Herz joined Lincoln International in early 2006. Previously, he had been working for eight years at Citigroup Global Investment Banking Division as a Director of the Industrial Group based in London and Frankfurt. He was responsible for covering and advising German Industrial and Auto-motive clients with a strong focus on M&A. Patrick von Herz started his career working for the M&A Group of BHF-BANK focusing mid-cap M&A transactions.
Patrick von Herz holds a business degree from the University of Cologne and the HEC, Paris. He speaks German, English, French and Italian.
