Role at Lincoln International:

Dominik Spanier is Managing Director and Head of Debt Advisory Germany at Lincoln International. He is responsible for managing key client relationships as well as to lead debt advisory mandates.

Advisory Experience:

Dominik Spanier has over 16 years of experience in corporate and structured finance and debt advisory. He advised numerous clients in both acquisition and sell side financings, re-financings as well as in restructuring situations. He advised large corporates, mid-cap and privately held companies as well as private equity houses. Recent selected mandates include the financing for Summit Partners Acquisition of 360 T (2012), restructuring of Conergy AG (2011), Strategic financing advise to Flughafen München (2011), Financing Advise to Odewald on its sale of BOA (2010), Refinancing of a major German publisher (2010), Restructuring of SAF Holland AG (2009), Financing advise for Advent on the acquisition of Median Kliniken (2009), Covenant reset of FTE automotive (2009), Financing advise to Siemens AG on its disposal of ADB (2009).

Past Affiliations:

Dominik Spanier joined Lincoln International in October 2011. Prior to that he was a Director at Rothschild, where he helped to build up its Debt Advisory practice in Germany since 2006. In 1995 he started his career at KPMG Corporate Finance before he joined Bank of Scotland’s leveraged finance team in 2002.

Academic Credentials:

After becoming a certified merchant banker at Deutsche Bank, Dominik Spanier graduated from University of Frankfurt am Main with a Degree in Business Administration. He speaks German, English and French.
