Lincoln International expands pensions team in response to strong demand for employer covenant advisory services

Lincoln International Pensions Advisory, the leading independent pensions advisory business of Lincoln International, has appointed two new professionals to its covenant advisory practice.

With significant experience in advising UK pension schemes on covenant-related matters, Lee Yeomans joins as a Vice President from Penfida Partners. Lee has over ten years’ experience in corporate finance having previously worked at Gleacher Shacklock and Citigroup.

Michael Bushnell also joins Lincoln International as an Associate from Zolfo Cooper, bringing with him over five years’ experience in advising UK pension fund clients on scheme-specific funding and other matters.

Darren Redmayne, UK CEO and Managing Director, commented “These key hires position Lincoln International well as we continue to expand and respond to strong demand for proportionate covenant advice. As the uncertainty in the economic outlook continues, Lincoln International believes that employer covenant is one of the biggest issues now facing pension trustees and the Pensions Regulator.”

Francis Fernandes, Senior Advisor to Lincoln International commented “Lee Yeomans and Michael Bushnell bring considerable experience to Lincoln International which will both enhance our advisory capabilities and further cement our position as the UK’s leading independent covenant adviser.”

Lincoln International Pensions Advisory is the leading independent provider of employer covenant, affordability, counterparty-risk assessment and related advisory services to sponsors and trustee clients. Earlier this year, Lincoln International was named Sponsor Covenant Adviser for 2011 at the UK Professional Pensions Awards.
