Lincoln International advises Racke GmbH & Co. KG (Mainz) on the sale of Blanchet, the best known wine brand in Germany, to Domkeller Holding- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH (Freyburg), the holding company of Rotkäppchen Sektkellerei GmbH, the largest producer of sparkling wine in Germany

Frankfurt, October 2009 - Racke GmbH & Co. KG ("Racke"), a leading German wine company, sold over 10 million bottles and generated sales of approx. EUR 23m with Blanchet during fiscal year 2008/2009. In addition to its own wine brand Blanchet and joint venture brands like Espíritu de Chile, Racke also distributes numerous other wine and spirit brands such as Yellow Tail, Osborne or Linie Aquavit.

Racke sells its brand Blanchet to Domkeller Holding- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH ("Domkeller"), the holding company of Rotkäppchen Sektkellerei GmbH, the largest producer of sparkling wine in Germany. Rotkäppchen Group, headquartered in Freyburg, generated sales of more than EUR 740m selling approximately 200 million bottles of sparkling wine, wine and spirits in 2008.
