Lincoln International Advises in the sale of ProTeam, Inc. to Emerson Electric Co.  

 

CHICAGO, September 1, 2009 – Lincoln International LLC, a global mid-market investment bank, today announced the sale of ProTeam, Inc. (“ProTeam” or the “Company”) to Emerson Electric Co. (“Emerson”).  ProTeam is a leading designer and manufacturer of powerful, efficient and ergonomic commercial vacuum cleaners and is the world’s largest provider of commercial backpack vacuum cleaners.  ProTeam is recognized as the original innovator of lightweight ergonomic backpack vacuum cleaners and enjoys an established reputation as the premier manufacturer of high-performance commercial vacuum cleaners with the broadest product line in the industry.  The Company is headquartered in Boise, Idaho. 

 

Lincoln International initiated this transaction, assisted in the negotiations and acted as the exclusive financial advisor to ProTeam. Matt Wood, President and CEO of ProTeam, commented: “Lincoln did an excellent job of managing the entire sale process.  Their expert advice and leadership were invaluable in achieving an excellent outcome for the Company and its shareholders.” Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
