Lincoln International Represents Atlas Castings and Technology in Sale to AmeriCast Technologies, Inc.
CHICAGO, April 17, 2007 - Lincoln International announced today it represented Atlas Castings and Technology ("Atlas"), a leading manufacturer of large, complex, highly-engineered steel castings, in its sale to AmeriCast Technologies, Inc. ("AmeriCast"), a portfolio company of Castle Harlan, Inc., a New York-based private equity firm. The transaction represents an important strategic acquisition for AmeriCast and Castle Harlan, giving the combined company a strong balance of customers and industries.
The Lincoln International transaction team worked closely with the Atlas shareholders during every step of the sale process, from initially identifying potential acquirers to ultimately negotiating the final terms of the transaction.
