As per 1 March 2006, the private owners have sold the Mühlhäuser brand to Grupo Helios SA.

Helios is a Spanish producer of jams, vegetal preserves, fried tomato and sauces, frutis in syrup and other quality food products. Helios intends to grow its market share in Germany and further promote Mühlhäuser as a leading food brand. Helios also acquired the assets of the two German production facilities.

Lincoln International acted as exclusive financial advisor to the private owners of the Mühlhäuser brand.
