Trelleborg has entered into an agreement to divest its automotive Fluid Solutions operations headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, to BAVARIA Industriekapital
Frankfurt, May 2010 -The Fluid Solutions business has approximately 1,900 employees and operations in France, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Germany. Fluid Solutions manufactures automotive components such as rubber hoses for engine-cooling and air-supply solutions. The business is headquartered in Mannheim, Germany and achieved a turn-over of approximately Euro 130 million in 2009. The group serves the major European car companies with its locations close to their main manufacturing bases. Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Trelleborg AB ("Trelleborg") in this transaction.
The divestment requires the fulfillment of certain conditions.
BAVARIA Industriekapital AG is a publicly listed industrial holding company which acquires businesses throughout Europe. In 2009 the group turnover amounted to Euro 404 million.
