Lincoln International represents Bavaria Industriekapital AG in the sale of Fonderie du Poitou Aluminium S.A.S to the French Groupe Montupet S.A.

Paris and Frankfurt, January 22, 2010. Lincoln International, assisted Bavaria Industriekapital AG as exclusive financial advisor in the sale of the entire operating business of Fonderie du Poitou Aluminium S.A.S. to a subsidiary of Groupe Montupet S.A. based in Neuilly, France. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Fonderie du Poitou Aluminium is an aluminum foundry which currently employs a staff of approximately 500 people. The Company is one of the leading independent European manufacturers of die-cast aluminum engine blocks. Its principle customers are Fiat and Renault/Nissan.

Bavaria Industriekapital AG is a privately-controlled and publicly listed industrial holding company based in Munich which acquires low-profit companies throughout Europe. Through active restructuring and revitalization of management it ensures the long-term success of the companies acquired. In 2008 the group turnover amounted to Euro 485 million and the group profit to Euro 23 million.
