Lincoln International represents Süd PE and DZ Equity Partner in the disposal of miniature precision ball bearing manufacturer myonic to Minebea Group of Japan.
Süd Private Equity Management GmbH, DZ Equity Partner GmbH and management have completely disposed of their jointly held portfolio company myonic Holding GmbH to Japanese miniature ball bearing specialist Minebea Co., Ltd. (TYO 6479).
Over the past 40 years, myonic has developed into a leading international manufacturer of miniature and high precision ball bearings for applications in the medical technology and aerospace industry. In the last financial year, the company generated about EUR 32 million sales with over 400 employees.
Minebea, headquartered in Tokyo, is the world's largest manufacturer of miniature ball bearings. Its 50,000 employees have generated sales of EUR 2.8 billion in the financial year 2007/08.
