Lincoln International strengthens chemicals practice with chemist and MBA Dr. Bernd Schneider
Frankfurt, Germany - Lincoln International, a leading global M&A advisor for small and mid-cap transactions with twelve offices in Europe, Asia and North America today announced that Dr. Bernd Schneider joined the company as Director and Head of Chemicals effective on 1 October.
Dr. Bernd Schneider will further strengthen and expand Lincoln International's activities in the chemicals industry where he will leverage his large industry network and his long-standing deal experience in the chemicals and related industries. This addition will improve Lincoln International's overall market position in chemicals since the firm is already an established leader advising large corporates on their divestitures and financial investors on exits of their portfolio companies.
Bernd joined Lincoln International as an outstanding chemical industry specialist. in his previous assignment he was an authorized officer with PricewaterhouseCoopers for five years and headed the Chemicals Competence Center within the transaction division. In his role he was able to collect relevant project experience in several roles from more than 30 transactions covering all relevant segments of the chemicals and related industries.
Dr. Bernd Schneider focussed on transactions with large and mid-sized chemicals companies and financial sponsors with interest in chemicals and related industries.
Bernd started his carrier in the DENOx catalysts division of Siemens as Head of Business Development. After the division had been acquired by KKR (and renamed Argillon), Bernd was promoted Argillon's key account manager for catalyst systems with responsibility for the Asia/pacific region.
He studied synchronically chemistry and business administration at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and earned a PhD degree in polymer chemistry at Bayreuth university and UCSB Santa Barbara.
