Lincoln International Represents AREVA T&D in Acquisition of P.S.D., Inc. from Waukesha Electric Systems, a unit of SPX Corporation
CHICAGO, February 23, 2010 – Lincoln International LLC, a global mid-market investment bank, advised AREVA’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division on its acquisition of P.S.D., Inc., a full-service provider of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions for high-voltage engineered systems. P.S.D., located in Canton, Ohio, was a wholly owned subsidiary of Waukesha Electric Systems, Inc., a unit of SPX Corporation. Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to AREVA T&D on the transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed.
AREVA T&D’s acquisition of P.S.D. represents the second successful assignment on which Lincoln International has advised AREVA T&D in the last four months. In November 2009, AREVA T&D acquired Megatran Electric Ltd., a Canada-based manufacturer of power transformers. Lincoln worked closely with AREVA T&D’s Corporate Business Development team on both transactions.
