Lincoln International advises on the sale of EBKE Küchen GmbH to CRISTINI GmbH

 

EBKE Küchen GmbH has been acquired with the effective date of May 1st, 2008, by CRISTINI GmbH. With a history dating back to 1961, Ebke Küchen GmbH has been a leading manufacturer of high-end premium kitchens, belonging to the famous Brands in Germany and other European countries, within this market segment. EBKE owns modern production facilities and at last count employed 140 people. Ebke went into insolvency at the end of November 2007, while still continuing with production today.

 

Dr. Frank Gebert, being the former CEO of ALNO Küchen and current acting partner and sole shareholder of CRISTINI GmbH, is the new owner of EBKE. By acquiring EBKE Küchen GmbH, CRISTINI GmbH follows long-term corporate objectives, focusing on a stronger positioning in the international market.

 

Due to the assigned restructuring process, Stefan Meyer, from Meyer Rechtsanwälte Insolvenzverwalter (Mayer Lawyers and Insolvency Administrators), initially became the interim insolvency administrator and was officially appointed on January 2nd, 2008. Lincoln International AG was mandated by the insolvency administrator to find a new investor for EBKE Küchen, which secures the continuance of the business and a sufficient prospect for the company.
