Lincoln International Represents American Capital Strategies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: ACAS) in the Sale of SAV Holdings, Inc. (d/b/a Swank Audio Visuals) to Code Hennessy & Simmons LLC


CHICAGO, September 17, 2007 - Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to American Capital Strategies, Ltd. ("American Capital"), the largest U.S. publicly traded private equity fund and one of the largest publicly traded alternative asset managers, in the sale of SAV Holdings, Inc. ("Swank"), a leading provider of audio visual services for corporate meetings and events. Swank was sold to Code Hennessy & Simmons LLC ("CHS"), a Chicago-based private equity firm currently managing over $2.5 billion of capital.

 

Swank provides event consultation, creative event design, technical support, equipment rental, and post-production services in both the in-house hotel as well as event services markets. Swank has been in operation since 1937, and has exhibited impressive growth throughout numerous business cycles within the meetings and events industry. Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Swank has an expanding presence in 58 major geographic markets across North America, providing audio visual solutions to more than 240 hotels.
