Frankfurt, January 2006 With effective date as of 01 January 2006, the insolvency administrator of TEMCO Textilmaschinen GmbH has sold the 100% engineering subsidiary Dienes Apparatebau GmbH to an investor group led by the former general manager of Dienes, Dr. Müller-Probandt.
Dienes Apparatebau GmbH offers standard components and customised solutions as well as specific designs and developments for spinning and heat treatment of man-made fibres. For more than 40 years Dienes has been a leading developer of sophisticated textile machinery components. With its new and renown technology for heat treatment of fibers, Dienes offers the potential of quantum leaps in its respective market with a strong potential of growth, especially in Asia.
Dr. Müller Probandt, the long-time head of Dienes and the person instrumental in developing and marketing this new technology, will focus on mainly two of the important textile markets world-wide, Europe and Asia.
