CHICAGO, April 23, 2008 Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Astrodyne Corporation (Astrodyne or the Company), a portfolio company of America Capital Strategies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: ACAS) (American Capital), one of the largest publicly traded alternative asset managers, in the sale of the Company. Astrodyne is a leading manufacturer, designer and distributor of AC/DC power supplies and DC/DC converters. The Company was sold to Audax Group, a Boston-based private equity firm.
Based in Mansfield, Mass., Astrodyne is the largest catalog provider of power supplies. Through its tri-annual catalogs, interactive Web site, and global distribution network, the Company markets its products to a diverse customer base representing industrial, audio/visual, medical, instrumentation, military, and telecommunications end markets. Astrodyne also offers industry-best technical customer support and rapid order fulfillment.
Lincoln International worked closely with the senior management of Astrodyne throughout all phases of the transaction.
