Lincoln Partners Represents Micro Dynamics Corp. in a Majority Sale to CHB Capital Partners
Eden Prairie, Minnesota - Micro Dynamics Corporation ("Micro Dynamics"), a premier provider of innovative electronic manufacturing services ("EMS"), has sold a majority interest to CHB Capital Partners ("CHB"), a Denver based private equity firm. Lincoln Partners initiated this transaction, assisted in the negotiations, and served as the lead financial advisor to Micro Dynamics. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Micro Dynamics Corporation delivers a wide range of end-to-end value added services to original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs") in the medical, communications, computing, industrial, aerospace and military markets. Due to its strong regional reputation and successful strategy of targeting a diverse group of stable end-markets, Micro Dynamics has achieved consistent revenue and earnings growth year over year. The company operates from three facilities located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota region; two in Montevideo and one in Eden Prairie.
Lincoln Partners marketed Micro Dynamics to a select group of financial and strategic acquirers. The process resulted in several attractive offers at above-average valuation multiples, from both private equity groups and strategic acquirers. At the end of the day, the shareholders elected to partner with CHB Capital and will maintain minority ownership in the business.
